Martha Bennett, Principal Analyst, Forrester Research, With the rapid pace of tech innovation, there’s been an accelerated explosion of data in our personal and professional lives.  With automation, robotics and artificial intelligence – a fourth industrial revolution is looming. And data will be its universal language…but who is able to speak or read it?

Data is key to unlocking new insights, ideas and possibilities. But experts estimate that only one-third of us can confidently understand, analyse and argue with data. More Information coming soon.

Until now, customers’ engagement with brands has been lacking. Why? Because the main problem with traditional feedback is that it`s just that, feedback—opinions based on past experiences and expressions of current states of mind. The second problem is that you don`t actually get much feedback at all, and the feedback you do get comes from two extremes: either very good or incredibly bad. There are simply too many variables and opinions rising from whatever happened and they might not have anything to do with the event itself. The third problem is that traditional feedback is very general. This means that traditionally, at a large event like Finland’s Ruisrock ,the feedback won’t tell you which part of the event created the best experiences and which did not. Come and see how CGI solved this for Ruisrock, Finland’s largest music festival.

We will also highlight what’s new in our latest releases and showcase new innovation ideas we are exploring across our products and platform.

Michael Schwan will explain how the largest European motorhome and caravan manufacturer, the Erwin Hymer Group, is using  Jedox and Qlik, a Planning, Reporting and Analytics solution that enables data capture, write back and embraces Excel.  This is delivering cost savings, improving visibility, reducing risk and improving resource optimisation.

15:15 - 16:00 Extensive databases used in research Pål Ahlsén, CEO, Akelius Properties » Introducing Qlik Sense – good practices and pitfalls at Praktikertjänst Nathalie Luna Persson, Business Intelligence Lead, Praktikertjänst »

In 2007 Pål was head of the newly started German business within Akelius Properties. Information on operations were practically nowhere to be found. Vacancy? Rent levels? Investments? Maintenance? Today information is found within ten seconds.

Akelius needs managers and specialists with more up to
date specialized knowledge than what universities offer. Learn how their extensive databases are used for research in Akelius Business school.

Changes overall hurts. Change of BI system, especially from static reports to dynamic visualizations, hurts even more. This break-out session encompasses the experience of implementing Qlik Sense Enterprise at Praktikertjänst, handling legacy IT systems, a parallel journey of Digitalization, Microsoftification and Cloudification as well as a mainly data-illiterate user group. Nathalie will try to shed some light at the lessons learnt, both high and low.

16:00 - 16: 30 Data for Everyone - who are the next generation of users? Paul Winsor, Industry Solutions, Qlik, with customer panel: Terex Trucks, Akelius, UD Trucks Volvo, Telia, Praktikertjänst, Ruisrock »

Analytics for everyone, a term often spoken about, but where is data and analytics being deployed today? Hear from an opinion based panel of cross industry data experts on how data is now landing at the edge of organisations at the point of decision and the potential future into the next generation of users, the customers.
