He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Informatics & Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and is a post graduate in IT auditing (RE) from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands as well. His specialties are Management information dashboards, Software & security integration (authentication & authorization, SaaS automation / provisioning, Programming & databases (javascript, REST APIs, MongoDB, MeteorJS, NodeJS) and IT Auditing & Governance.

John Sands from Qlik will then show you with a Qlik Sense demo how you can interact and collaborate in an easy and transparent way and share a best practice to demonstrate how Qlik customers are successful by leveraging Storytelling in their day to day work environment.

Robert Tischler is Managing Director and Senior Analyst at the Business Application Research Center (BARC) Austria. His specialty areas are Business Intelligence Front Ends and process oriented Business Intelligence applications. He supports companies in the software selection process, during the introductory phase and with reviews to optimize architecture and organization. Robert Tischler has many years of experience as a project manager of BI projects, hands-on expertise with many BI tools on the front end, as well as in the backend, designing, coaching and implementing reporting, analysis and planning solutions with a focus on self-service BI, Information Design and advanced planning.

John Sands

John has ten years of experience of working with Qlik and 20 years' experience in the software industry. He has been involved with Qlik as it evolved into the platform of choice for many enterprise companies. John has presented to audiences globally talking about the BI Industry and how the Qlik platform has been such a game changer. He has spoken about mobile technology and how it has changed the face of IT, making people demand slicker quicker software in the workplace and sparking the Bring Your Own Device movement. Michael Distler is a Director of Product Marketing at Qlik. In his current position, Michael is responsible for developing content, positioning, and messaging for Qlik's visual analytics platform and has a background in manufacturing and engineering software applications. Previous to Qlik he worked at PTC, where he had product marketing responsibility for PTC's Windchill PLM product line along with a number of related solutions. Michael attended the University of Michigan, where he earned his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester.

Specific domain expertise in Pharma, both from the Field Sales force side and from the Clinical Research side from stints with Glaxo and PPD (respectively). Since Joining Qlik his experience has centered on the Alliances side starting with Senior Technical Consultant for the Alliances Team, moving on to Director of Technology for OEM Partners, and now to Global Product Manager for OEM and Integration. His specialties are Software Alliances, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Software Integration, OEM Partnering, Data Modeling, Requirements Gathering, Product Specifications, Software as a Service, QlikView Product Suite, Enterprise Deployment Architecture, Single Sign-on, SQL.
