Andrus Jõgi

Andrus Jõgi is Advisor at Ministry of Finance in Estonia. Local Governments financing and their financial management has been he’s main expertise about 15 years at Local Government Financial Management Department. He has been leading the OpenData project called State Finances. It’s for giving the public and government sector a BI tool to analyze the government sector accounting information.


Johan Magnusson

Johan Magnusson is Associate Professor and researcher at the Department of Applied IT, University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. He is a member of several research programs, Competing on Visualization being one of them. He is a member of the jury of the CIO Awards in Sweden and his chronicles are frequently published in media.

Anthony Deighton

As Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Products, Anthony is responsible for guiding product strategy and leads all aspects of the company's R&D efforts. Since joining in 2005, Anthony has played a critical role in evolving and driving QlikView's product evolution to maximise the potential of business user-driven BI. Previously, Anthony was the General Manager of Siebel System's Employee Relationship Management (ERM) business unit. Anthony helped found the ERM business at Siebel and it grew to over 300 customers, $20 million a year in license revenue, was recognised as Siebel's fastest-growing product line and named Product Line of the Year. Prior to joining Siebel, Anthony worked as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney in Chicago. Anthony holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and a M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School.

Donald Farmer

Donald is the VP Innovation and Design, working with customers and partners to establish Qlik as the leading solution for Business Discovery. Donald has over twenty years’ experience in analytics and data management. In that time he has worked as a consultant, in start-ups and as a leader of Microsoft’s BI product teams. He is a speaker at many international events on business intelligence, data integration and data management, blogger, and author of several books. In addition to his career in Business Intelligence, Donald has worked in fields as diverse as fish-farming and archaeology. He is also a guest professor at SouthWestern University in Chongqing, China, and advises on several academic boards. He lives near Seattle in an experimental woodland house, with his wife Alison, an artist.

James Richardson

James Richardson is Business Analytics Strategist at Qlik. Prior to this role James spent six years as a Gartner analyst covering business intelligence and analytics. During his tenure, James was the lead author of the Magic Quadrant for BI Platforms report, and chaired and keynoted Gartner's European Business Intelligence (BI) summit. Before Gartner, James spent 13 years at BI and performance management software vendor Hyperion in various roles.

Dan Sommer

Dan is the global lead for Qlik’s Market Intelligence Program. With more than 14 years’ experience in the IT industry, Dan has previously held the positions of Research Director, Agenda Manager and Global Lead for BI and Analytics Markets at IT research and advisory company Gartner. During the ten years he spent as an analyst at Gartner, he specialised in markets, trends, competitive landscape evaluations and go-to-market strategies. Dan also managed, chaired and keynoted the 2015 Gartner BI Summit event. Born and raised in Stockholm, Dan moved back to Sweden a few years ago with his wife and two children after six years in London as well as stints in France and the US.

Victor Alias

Victor Alias is a commercial effectiveness expert within the Pharmaceutical industry. With a strong technical background combined with extensive business knowledge and 15+ years of experience, he has been leading several initiatives in the CRM and BI fields. His expertise comes from different perspectives, from technical to business and from external consultant to internal management, always within the life sciences arena.

Xavier Martí

Xavier Marti is a specialist with 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence. He has been working as a consultant designing and building solutions with different technologies (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Qlik). Works in Almirall since 2005 and managing projects with different roles/responsibilities. From 2009 onwards Xavi has been accountable for several BI projects, ensuring best practices and Q&S. Currently he is involved in the transformation of Almirall’s BI department to a Information Management department.
